Design and build mobile apps powered by AI features such as image recognition, translation, and smart assistants. Designed for ages 9โ13 in Grades 4โ8, each class has just 3โ5 students for personalized instruction. Students use MIT App Inventor to create real Android apps while learning the fundamentals of app design, programming logic, and artificial intelligence. Throughout the course, students learn how to design app screens, use buttons, images, labels, and sensors, and build interactive apps using events, variables, conditionals, and procedures. They also explore beginner AI features and complete several working mobile apps while developing problem solving and design thinking skills.
