At Smart Kids AI, we believe the best way to learn is by building. Our live, small-group classes help children ages 6–12 explore coding and AI through exciting, hands-on projects they'll be proud to share. Four ideas that shape every cohort we run.
Build, don't just consume
Every cohort ends with something the child made — a chatbot, a Scratch game, a robot that solves a maze. We start hands-on in week one.
2–3 kids per club
Small enough that every child speaks in every session. Large enough that they bounce ideas off each other instead of just the screen.
Safety + ethics built in
Kids learn what AI is good at, where it gets things wrong, and how to spot it. Digital safety and source-checking are part of the syllabus, not an afterthought.
Global classroom, local roots
Curriculum draws from Singapore Math, US AMC prep, and Canadian primary practice. Built in Markham, taught to families across Canada and beyond.

Smart Kids was founded by a team of educators and technology professionals from Canada and around the world who share a passion for helping children learn through creativity and exploration. As parents ourselves, we understand the importance of giving kids the confidence and skills they need to thrive in an increasingly digital world.
When we looked at existing technology programs, we found they often focused too much on trends or were too advanced for young learners. We believed there was a better approach. That's why we created small-group, hands-on classes where children build real projects, ask questions, solve problems, and enjoy learning in a supportive environment at their own pace.

Every Smart Kids class is taught live by experienced instructors who make learning interactive, engaging, and fun. With just two to three students per class, every child has the opportunity to ask questions, receive personalized guidance, and build confidence while learning at their own pace.
Each course is centered around exciting, hands-on projects that children are proud to share. From creating games and apps to designing interactive programs and solving creative challenges, students learn by building, experimenting, and exploring. Every session ends with new skills, a completed project, and the excitement of showing family and friends what they've created.
